Continuously Building Interconnected, Fully Mobile New-Format Branches
According to the ‘2024 Work Points for the Digital Economy’ released in April, China will continue to deepen the digital transformation of industries, accelerate breakthroughs in digital technology innovation, and continuously enhance the level of public services. Against this backdrop, smart bank branches, as an important part of the digital transformation of financial services, are not only gaining more technological empowerment but also welcoming new development opportunities.
Agree Technology, as a professional solution provider, has long been committed to promoting innovation and development in financial technology. Addressing the current challenges faced by banks, such as the need for strong control over counter operations, reliance on wired networks, extensive data filling, and support from specialised financial peripherals, Agree Technology has innovated business tablets like BeePadPro and Huawei Qingyun C7. These devices provide seamless mobile connectivity for all business operations, reducing the disconnect between lobby services and counter operations and allowing users to receive ‘shoulder-to-shoulder’ personalised mobile business services upon entering the branch. Meanwhile, financial product information can be linked in real-time to HarmonyOS smart screens through OpenHarmony Connect, enabling users to understand relevant information more intuitively.
Additionally, the AgreeOS system, developed based on OpenHarmony 4.0, can achieve interaction with HarmonyOS smart screens and financial peripheral robots, acting as the ‘brain’ supporting the new OpenHarmony omnichannel solution. This innovative achievement enhances the convenience of branch services and features a futuristic interaction design. Through collaboration, the service products retain the original advantages of lightweight terminals while fully utilising the open-source nature and security of OpenHarmony, providing users with a more intelligent, secure, and smooth experience.
At the Huawei Qingyun China Tour special forum themed ‘Empowering Thousands of Industries, Together Creating the Future,’ Li Yuxiang, Vice President and General Manager of the Research Institute at Agree Technology, showcased the practical results of interconnected, fully mobile new-format branches based on OpenHarmony. He stated, ‘Using financial business tablets based on HarmonyOS, such as Agree Technology’s OpenHarmony tablet or Huawei’s Qingyun C7, we can build a new format branch interconnected with unified technology and architecture across the network. These can be deployed as flexible light terminals that switch between self-service and assisted service, and can also interact with Agree Technology’s HarmonyOS financial robots. Through these robots, we can achieve shared peripheral calls and information flow while possessing embodied intelligent capabilities to detect transaction risks intelligently. We hope to promote the solution to other service fields with the Harmony-based tablets and build a better future for the industry.’
