From November 29 to 30, the 2024 Quantum Technology and Industry Conference was successfully held in Anhui. The Hefei Municipal Government, the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Quantum Science Industry-Academia-Research Innovation Alliance, and China Telecom Quantum Group jointly organised this conference. Themed ‘Quantum Leap: A Promising Future,’ the conference focused on specialised areas such as quantum communication, quantum computing, and quantum precision measurement. It featured keynote speeches from academicians and experts, the release of a series of application results, industry cooperation agreements, and various specialised activities across multiple fields. A 5,000 square meter area was dedicated to showcasing innovative results in the quantum industry, attracting over 50 leading upstream and downstream companies in quantum technology. The exhibition area comprehensively displayed achievements in quantum technology and introduced a new quantum application experience zone for the first time.

In recent years, quantum technology research and application have gradually become a key component of national strategic development, positioning it at the forefront of a new wave of technological revolution and industrial transformation. Banks and financial institutions are increasingly accelerating their collaboration and synergy with quantum technology enterprises. Agree Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘Agree Technology’), an important player in the banking industry’s digital transformation, showcased innovative products and solutions such as window service light terminals and mobile banking in collaboration with ecological partners at this exhibition. In the ZTE exhibition area, Agree Technology partnered with ZTE Communications to present a specialised financial tablet. This device cleverly integrates Agree Technology’s Type-C peripheral smart hub, preserving the ecosystem of a general tablet while introducing new possibilities for financial services. Attendees and media at the event experienced the convenience and efficiency of the light terminal firsthand, witnessing the perfect integration of the general tablet ecosystem with financial services.

During the two-day exhibition, the phased achievements and industry development concepts presented by Agree Technology in the field of quantum technology received significant attention and praise from attendees and the media. Yu Xiongwei, Deputy General Manager of Agree Technology Research Institute, stated in an interview with Hefei Radio and Television Station, ‘Our quantum encryption module provides comprehensive encryption and reinforcement for financial data. We aim to integrate quantum computing into everyday life by empowering various industries with quantum technology.’

Agree Technology, in collaboration with ZTE Communications, has developed a dedicated tablet terminal for banking services. This device utilises a domestically produced processor and supports quantum-safe encryption and terminal security management. The financial outlets empowered by quantum encryption technology represent a fusion of cutting-edge technology and traditional financial scenarios. This approach effectively ensures financial data security and transforms the conventional interaction methods in banking. A new model of all-scenario outlet services has been created through the interconnectivity of smart screens, financial tablets, and financial robots, enabling efficient, secure, and seamless human-computer interaction. This integration resonates with the convergence of financial technology services and business operations.
